Maurice Sendak, 1928-2012.

Sad news from the literary world today: Maurice Sendak, author of beloved children’s classic Where The Wild Things Are, has passed away. He was 83.

Keep heaven wild, Mr. Sendak. I’m pretty sure they won’t send you to bed without dinner.

    As some-one who worked in preschools and the mother of a boy I found Mr. Sendaks work fantastic! Sad news indeed.
